Airing

Since modern windows seal very well, the airing of a room is reduced to minimum which can be a cause of mold in your house as well as of water condensation on glass surfaces. The regular ventilation of the rooms is vital to solve this problem because a greater amount of air runs through the house an can thus absorb more humidity.
The humidity of your home should be between 30% and 50%.

Condensation

Condensation is a natural phenomenon which occurs on the surface of cold objects when the concentration of humidity in the air is high. It occurs more frequently in winter when the temperature difference between the exterior and interior is higher. The higher the humidity of the air, the more frequently should airing be done. Warm air can absorb more humidity than the cold one. The part of humidity that cannot be absorbed by air condenses on surrounding surfaces. Consequently, the more humidity we make, the higher the room temperature should be.
