Outer slat blinds are suitable for shadowing larger glass surfaces.

They fit perfectly on glass facades as outer protection from the sun.
They function on the same basis as inner slat blinds but the slats, lift cords and other parts are much more massive and sturdy. The lifting and lowering of slats as well as the regulation of illumination angle is operated from the inside. The slats can be regulated by a cord or tilt wand, by digital electromotor or remote control motorization.
With outer slat blinds with digital electromotor it is advisable to install a sensor which will signal the electromotor in case of strong wind so that slats can automatically be lifted in the shutter box and thus be protected.
